The importance and use of wetland plants in the past and present times

This paper deals with a research on the importance and use of wetland plants in history and present. The aim of the work is to collect information and critically assess the information on the importance of wetland plants to human society in the past and present including their uses. The review builds on the existing treatment of the topic in the Czech language and extends it with information published in foreign-language scientific and professional literature over the last 20 years and summarizes knowledge especially on wetlands, useful, invasive and endangered wetland plants.
Possibilities of ex situ protection of rare and endangered plant species

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to present the possibilities, significance and possible problems of ex-situ protection for the future conservation of biodiversity of plants on Earth. In the introductory part of the thesis, the individual processes and programs of ex situ protection are described, with the help of literature search. At the same time, information on international cooperation in the field of seed banks and botanical gardens is presented, which, through their activities and mutual cooperation, create rescue programs to secure as many samples of plant material for possible future use. The work also mentions international plant databases, which provide the accurate and detailed information about the preserved material of rare and endangered plant species for the public. Further in the thesis, the currently known problems of ex situ protection with their impacts on the collected and stored material are mapped. Pěstování ohrožených druhů rostlin v CHKO Jeseníky

This paper describes an area situated in the northern part of Moravia, Protected Landscape Area Jeseniky. Furthermore it describes the various threat levels of vascular plants and legislation related to their manipulation. There are elucidated the criteria and the importance of those criteria associated with the granting and use of regional mark "Jeseniky original product". The larger part of this paper is devoted to a brief description of selected endangered plant species, which are selected from the Red list of vascular plants CHKO Jeseniky. They are characterized by their habitat, the degree of danger in the Czech Republic, the reason of their selection and other interesting information regarding these plants.

My thesis deals with some endangered species in the Training Forest Enterprise Křtiny and Moravian Karst, design certification of local forest nurseries logo regional product for sale, and also the importance for the local community. The work is focused on identifying endangered species of Training Forest Enterprise Křtiny, which are grown by the locals on their land in selected communities. Study deals with legislative restrictions in the management of endangered plant species. It explains the concept of the term "non-wood forest products", and its relevance to the forestry and biodiversity. In the work described conducted a field survey in which was collected seeds of selected endangered in the Moravian Karst for school forest enterprise Křtiny. Seeds were sown in a cold frame of Botanical garden and arboretum of Mendel University in Brno and made them germination tests. The last section describes the idea of certifing some forest nursery in the area of the Moravian Karst, giving the logo "MORAVSKÝ KRAS regional product." This tree nursery could selected endangered species grown and sold in order to increase the number of these plants in nature and the preservation of biodiversity.
